Get Connected is a one-of-a-kind computer clinic in Cambridge that provides vital services to Greater Boston communities.

Donation and Repair Clinic- We donate computers to low- income groups and individuals who are searching for housing or jobs and seeking to network with others. We also host a repair clinic where you can bring your computer for repairs so that it will operate more safely.

Software and Hardware Training -

A clinic for computer technicians and other people who work in offices. Many of our volunteers have used the clinic as a valuable step towards a career in IT. Other volunteers have improved their software and hardware skills to use in their office jobs or employment search.

Newtorking and Volunteering -

An opportunity for you to learn a lot and get to know lovely people. Many lasting friendships have formed at the clinic. Class members have also developed ideas and received job offers as well as business referrals here.

Visiting Get Connected:

The program is off held at 1151 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA in Harvard Square (the basement of the Old Cambridge Baptist Church). This is about a block and a half from the Harvard T stop.  It is fine to come for just part of the time (if that’s what your schedule permits).

Bring some potluck food to share, if you can. Be sure to see the warnings below about parking.  Our space is accessible to people with disabilities and we welcome people of all ages and of all walks of life.  Parents are encouraged to bring their children.

Walking directions: If you take the T, walk on Mass. Ave towards Central Square, past JP Licks and Panera on the right, and Harvard Yard on your left. You’ll get to Bow Street where Mass Ave forks a bit to the right. The Old Cambridge Baptist Church is the second big building on your left.

Driving directions: Come into Harvard Square from Central Square on Mass Ave. We’re a block or so on the right after Putnam Ave and Crate and Barrel. If you are driving, NEVER EVER park in the church parking lot, even for a minute—you will be towed. Park on metered parking on the street, bring plenty of quarters and don’t fall behind, not even for a minute, because Cambridge will ticket you. Other than this, we are delighted for you to visit.

I come to check my email, face book and do my online business. I couldn't reach my goal without an internet access. I need to be on internet every day, to check my email and business account.

I come to the center twice a week, to receive and send out emails to friends and families. I also need the center to do my job searching and do my school works. What I like about the place it is quiet to study and do my study. And it is a friendly environment.
