Mela
is a publication of the Ethiopian Adbar Women's Alliance.
Mela began its publication on September 2000 as the first
bilingual quarterly Ethiopian Women's newspaper in the United
States. Mela means "solution" in Amharic the Ethiopian
national language. It is in our effort to reach out to the
Ethiopian community and the general American public at large.
Mela
is a modest forum that entertains views, opinions, and questions
from the readers in both Amharic and English. We expect from
our readers critic, informative ideas and views that improve
our newsletter. We also would like to invite every one to
join our newsletter team.
Please
send your articles to Mela c/o Ethiopian Adbar Women's Alliance
PO Box 382302 or email your articles to Adbar@ethiopianwomen.org.
